Plenty of travellers tack Cambodia onto a Vietnam or Thailand trip, adding three or four nights as an extension, and there's nothing wrong with that — except the temples deserve more than a fleeting stopover gives them. Stretch Siem Reap to two full days and swap the Angkor Wat queue for a fuller round of temples — Ta Prohm, the Roluos group and Banteay Srei among them.
