Trip overview
You settle into a single Phuket hotel for the whole stay — the same room for four nights — and head out on two separate boat trips: a big-boat day to Phi Phi Island, and a long-tail excursion to James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay. With no town-to-town transfer to plan around, a short holiday like this stays easy to follow.
The James Bond Island day is what sets this apart from other Phuket itineraries: it includes a long-tail cruise through Phang Nga National Park, a sea-canoe stop at Talu Island’s mangrove caves, and a buffet lunch at the floating village of Koh Panyi, on top of the Phi Phi Island day that most Phuket trips already include.
Highlights
- An evening at the Phuket Fantasea cultural show, with dinner
- A full day at Phi Phi Island by big boat
- A long-tail boat run to James Bond Island, including sea-canoe paddling through the mangrove caves of Talu Island
- A buffet lunch at the floating village of Koh Panyi
- A full free day built into the itinerary
Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Phuket, Phuket Fantasea show
Once you've checked in, the rest of the afternoon is yours; in the evening you head to Phuket Fantasea, a 140-acre nighttime park built around Thai legend and history.
Inside, you'll find a carnival village, a buffet hall seating 4,000 diners, and a big theatrical show on stage — dancers, live effects and elephants included.
Day 2: Phi Phi Island tour by big boat
A big boat carries you out from Phuket for a full day at Phi Phi Island, where limestone cliffs rise above clear, sheltered bays. Expect stops along the way for swimming and photos before the boat heads back.
Day 3: James Bond Island tour by long-tail boat
Breakfast is followed by a transfer down to the pier, where a long-tail boat sets out around Phang Nga Bay to James Bond Island. A limestone tower rises from the water here, recognisable from the film 'The Man with the Golden Gun'.
The trip includes sea canoeing through Talu Island’s mangrove forest and caves, plus a buffet lunch at the floating village of Koh Panyi before the return to Phuket.
Day 4: Free day for leisure and individual activities
Once breakfast is done, the rest of this day has nothing fixed on it — use the time for shopping, an optional add-on tour, or simply resting up ahead of your departure.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast and check-out, you’re transferred for your departure flight, bringing the Phuket stay to a close.
