Sightseeing stays light: only the four-island speedboat outing is fixed, framed by two days entirely of your own choosing. Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Krabi
What draws visitors to Krabi is its beaches and islands: clear water and soft sand line Ao Nang, Railay and Hat Noppharat Thara, each with its own line-up of adventure activities, and Phi Phi Island lies within day-trip distance. Rock climbers head to Railay above all, for cliffs of sheer limestone that also pull in sunbathers, while Ao Nang's beachfront gives you a solid choice of places to eat on your first night.
Day 2: Full-day Four Islands tour with lunch
Setting out from Ao Nang, the boat trip reaches the four closest islands — Koh Poda, Chicken Island (Koh Gai), Koh Tub and Koh Mor — picked for water calm and clear enough for swimming and snorkelling. A further stop is Phra Nang Cave Beach, tucked on Railay's peninsula, boat-access only and often ranked among the loveliest stretches of coast in the area.
Day 3: Free day in Krabi
Nothing is booked for this day, leaving you free to wander Ao Nang, Railay or nearby beaches however you like — more sun, a longtail ride out to a quiet cove, or simply a rest after two busier days.
Day 4: Departure from Krabi
Breakfast and checkout are followed by the transfer that gets you to Krabi Airport in time for your onward journey, closing out a short break built on beaches, limestone scenery and island hopping. Given how light the schedule is, this also works well tacked onto a longer Thailand trip for extra beach days.
